RCS Optics  Shipping Terms and Conditions



We want you to be 100% satisfied with our products and service! We provide a 30 day return policy are committed to your satisfaction and would like to earn your business for years to come. We are happy to work with you in the event that you desire to exchange items. See the Exchanges and Returns section below. 



RCS Optics will do our best to meet or beat any advertised price. To stand behind that, RCS Optics offers a 15 day price match policy. If you find the exact same product on sale for less than what you paid then RCS Optics will refund the difference. Details:

  • Our Price Match Guarantee covers new items only (excludes clearance and open-box items). One price match per identical item, per customer, at the current pre-tax price available to all customers is allowed for a period of 15 days after the sale date.
  • If we happen to lower our own online price during the 30 day return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request.
  • Products shipped from or sold by third-party sellers on websites do NOT apply.
  • Pricing that is only available to select groups of customers including loyalty offers, discounts relating to a non-warehouse membership programs and government exchange store offers do NOT apply.
  • Any financing offers, bundle offers, items included in bundle offers, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, coupon offers, items that are advertised as limited quantity, out of stock items, clearance items, open-box items, refurbished items, pre-owned items, credit card offers, gift card offers, items included in gift card offers do NOT apply.
  • The best way to show proof of price is to mail in the competitor's current ad including ad validity dates or notify us of the website address of the retailer via email. We may call the competitor's retail store or check the website address of the retailer to verify the lower price and availability of the item.


Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. RCS Optics reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason with a full refund. We have made every effort to ensure accuracy of the information listed however; RCS Optics holds the discretion for honoring or dishonoring any offer that was publicized with errors in product descriptions or pricing information. 

RCS Optics offers additional customer discounts through our REWARDS CLUB Membership. These discounts and/or special prices are non-advertised prices and meant to reward returning customer loyalty. RCS Optics reserves the right to revoke the privilege of access to this price set, if in our sole opinion, attempts were made to inappropriately access the pricing, abuse the program, or share private password with others. We understand our customers expect fast and secure delivery. All orders are generally processed the day received. All items are generally shipped within 48 hours. Unless you choose a freight upgrade, all orders are shipped via USPS 3 day Priority Mail Service or UPS Ground Service at our option. 



In the unlikely event that you need to exchange or return the purchased item(s), please notify us at Customer Service  for proper procedures prior to any returns. All returns to RCS Optics must have a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number clearly marked on the prepaid package. Please email Customer Service to receive a returns form with RGA number and return mailing instructions. Easy-peasy.

Returned merchandise for exchange or refund must meet the following conditions. Returns that fail to meet these conditions may be subject to additional fees depending upon the return goods inspection report. To avoid any fees:

  • Product must be in new condition. No returns allowed on clearance items.
  • Return product including all accessories and documentation in original packaging within 30 days of delivery.
  • Enclose a copy of the completed returns form.
  • Clearly mark the package with the RGA Number.

Any difference in product pricing between the exchanged goods will be charged/credited to your credit card.  Products damaged in transit or defective upon receipt are not exchangeable or returnable. See the Damaged in Transit/ Defective Goods Policy below. 


Used products are generally not eligible for a refund. Once a scope is mounted (placing the scope in rings constitutes mounting), it becomes a used product. The refund value to be credited will be determined only after receipt and inspection of returned goods and confirmation that all accessories and manuals were also returned. All return freight must be prepaid except for Rewards Club Members. RCS Optics encourages you to insure the package for your protection. Used merchandise returned for a refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee on selected items.  Returned product is credited up to the amount of the order, depending upon the returns inspection report and less the actual cost of original shipping fees applied. Refunds on returned used goods are only in the form of store credit.


It is important to inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the package was damaged in transit, a claim with the shipper using the package tracking number, must be made by the customer at the time of delivery. Products damaged in transit are not returnable.   If a product is defective upon receipt, then the item should be returned to the manufacturer according to their warranty instructions. RCS Optics is not responsible for misprints or errors on our site or in any printed advertisement.  Errors will be corrected where and when discovered. RCS Optics reserves the right to revoke any stated offer, cancel orders, and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in any stated offer or price, including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment processed.Personal and or business checks are welcome however the shipment will be held 14 business days from the date of payment receipt.

By accepting these terms and conditions the customer acknowledges that RCS Optics does not collect nor is responsible for state or local sales and use tax in states outside the following states: Missouri, South Dakota, and Utah. Customers living outside of South Dakota may be required to pay these taxes to their state. 

RCS Optics may advertise and/or offer to sell merchandise without sales tax, however sales or use tax may be required by the purchaser's home state. If RCS Optics does not collect the sales tax then the purchaser still has the obligation to pay any sales tax due. These offers may be extended to all United States purchases except those where the shipping address is located within the Great State of South Dakota. Since our principle place of business is located within Yankton County, South Dakota, we are required by the South Dakota Department of Revenue & Regulation to apply a sales tax to all purchases where the product is delivered to a South Dakota address. The current state sales tax rate for South Dakota is 4.5%. In addition, depending upon locality within South Dakota, RCS Optics is also required to charge municipal tax (1% - 2%) as well. Finally, freight charges are also taxable within the state of South Dakota.  Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. RCS Optics reserves the right to modify or discontinue this or any policy without advance notice.

Note of caution to our customers: Some retailers may offer illegally obtained products, including grey market goods, and offer them for sale at deep discounts. Be assured that RCS Optics is an authorized dealer, only sells items obtained directly from the manufacturer or authorized agents, and where dictated by the manufacturer we advertise them at the lowest prices allowed. If you find items for less elsewhere please beware. Manufacturers may not honor a warranty claim on products that were purchased through unauthorized sources. 

RCS Optics will only ship to addresses within the United States of America and for select products, Canadian addresses. In order to conform to US Export rules and regulations, RCS Optics will not engage in any transaction that will require the illegal export of any products and will not knowingly assist directly or indirectly with the illegal export or re-export of any products.

RCS Optics will fully cooperate with law enforcement, federal agencies, and/or financial institutions in all situations where reasonable belief that fraud or any other unlawful action has been committed.


All warranties are through the manufacturer only. No manufacturer warranties are implied by RCS Optics. We only sell products that have an outstanding warranty from reputable companies and we do not sell any used or gray market products. Typical warranties are lifetime and some allow the warranty to transfer with ownership.
